My baby sister hugging me before she goes to childcare.
Funnily, that's the same thing she does when she tries to lift me up or ride me like a horse.
Now I'm starting to wonder if that really was just an innocent hug...

Hi your blog is new to me. I have had two red goldens, both looking like Helios, both lost to cancer, age 9 and age 6. The second was born two months after the first one passed. Altho I dont think dogs or people are reincarnated, I found your idea really interesting, of waiting to find another "Herbie." Our first dog was my soulmate, and the second was my husband's soulmate:both loved but a different connection somehow. I am looking forward to hearing about when you do find that next dog connection and what it is about that dog that made you decide its the one; your new love may not be like Herbie at all. Good Luck! Maybe like KT and the Lady, your next one may be found in a very serendipitious manner....
