Photos to share

Just to share with you some photos my M took for me last weekend. She bought a new backdrop and was waiting for the chance to take some nice peektures of my and my baby sister.

I was a very good boy, I took a lot of photos even tho I didn't really like the being made to do stay and with 2 huge flashes pointing at me. So I had lots of pictures. But my M only uploaded these few.

Serious look

Happy look

Bored look

My baby sister, on the other hand, was a naughty girl. First she refused to put away the awful tumbler whose color clashes with the image, and then she refused to stay put. After that she just threw a tantrum and cried. So she only had a handful of photos, one of which shows her bullying me as usual... just ignore my smile. I did it because I had to. I REALLY was being bullied.

After her tantrum, my M had a hard time controlling both of us because I kept wanting to run away and my baby sister keep wanting to throw a fit. In the end she gave up irritably and went mumbling something about "babies and dogs together".

Anyway, I thought it turned out pretty well. At least I was looking handsome, right?

I think there might be a next time....

It's been a loooong time...

... since I last went to the beach. The last time I was there, my baby sister was still crawling. Now she's a little walking terror.

I was soooo happy to be finally back on the beach that I was running for joy.

The sun.. the sea... the sand!!

Too bad Scuba couldn't come coz his mum was sick, but then again, he wouldn't have enjoyed swimming anyway. And Tommy couldn't come coz his pawrents went to a wedding pawty the night before and couldn't wake up in time. I'm sure Tommy will be quite peeved with them if he found out we went swimming.

Did I mention we went swimming?

And I'm sure Tommy will be disappointed to know that we were frollicking in the sand...

Don't tell Tommy we were playing in the sand, ok?

Did I say anything about sand?

Anyway, if Tommy were to ever ask how was our weekend, I'm sure we could get Jack to tell him that it was bad.

Bah! Being stuck at the beach is a lousy start to the day!

Even my baby sister wasn't really enjoying herself at first. She didn't like walking on the sand and was afraid of the waves.

So we had 2 grouches on the beach...

So I decided to have a good talk with her...

And showed how how much fun the beach can be!

Which maybe I shouldn't have, coz she found her own way of having fun at the beach...

Water me!

Test, test...Is Helios wet enough?

Nope... needs more water

And some on the head too...

Can you see the resigned look on my face? Oh well... as long as it makes her happy. But Joey was smart enough to get away from her.

Gonna just get my ball and get out of the way before I get watered too

But he only stayed away until there was food...

I think my baby sister has mastered the art of begging, as evident by the fact that she's the only one among the 3 who got to eat after begging. And she got the food from Aunty G, who is well known for being able to resist doggie begs.

I wonder if my Big Brother Herbie has somehow secretly imparted the most important lesson in the art of begging to my baby sister. How else can you explain why she succeeded when everyone else have failed?

As for me, I'm just happy to be back on the beach, food or no food.

I do hope we get to go back again soon. And remember, if Tommy ever asks, we were NEVER at the beach!

Not talking

We're not talking to each other right now....

Gotcha!

Did we manage to trick you? Don't worry, we're still best buddies.

And we love each other...

My M and MM took us to the Botanics Garden to take nice peektures. The last time I was here, my big brother herbie was still with us and I took lots of nice peektures with him. Now that he's not here anymore, my baby sister is taking over his place.

If you'd notice, the chair is the very same one I sat on with my big brother herbie.

Maybe I'll post more nice peektures once my lazy M is done with sorting them.

Scuba the living backdrop aka Bullying the Bully

Last weekend, my M carted the whole portable backdrop to Scuba's house for a shoot. Scuba, as the host, was the most co-operative. The humans just plonked him in the middle and he didn't even attempt to move away, so he was featured in EVERY photo.

So he had photos taken with Tommy...

with J&J...

and with me!

My M said I have a goofy grin but I thought I just looked handsome.

And since Scuba was being so co-operative, the humans decided to put the babies on him.

Tommy's baby brother so liked being on Scuba that he would climb up on Scuba on his own. There must be something about Scuba's ears coz all the babies seem to like to pull it.

Tickle ears

My baby sister was not very happy to be on Scuba coz she wanted to crawl around but the humans keep putting her back. Look how grouchy she looks!

The humans wanted us to take a group picture but gave up in the end coz we were all too excited to sit still. They said there'll be a round 2.

I hope they don't get the babies to sit on ME.

Helios Potter!

My M always thought I look a bit like Harry Potter if she pretends my cowlick is the 'lightning scar'.

Abracadabra! Or... explodimous!

Harry Potter?

But apparently her friend thought I look more like Dumbledore... or rather, Dumbledawg.

I don't care.... I still think I'm Helios Potter! Be careful about your comments or I may turn you into a frog!

PS: Sunday afternoon slots for the photoshoot are all taken, but we still have slots for Saturdays and Sunday morning!

Photos!

My M went to buy some cloth yesterday, and put up a DIY studio in our living room. Guess who's the model?

Handsome me!

Actually, I was just the test subject while she tried to get the setup correct. :(

Very smart test subject

Do I look like a genius?

And then my baby sister joined in. I was kinda worried what sort of nefarious plan would she have for my paw.

Luckily she only wanted some loving...

So I loved her back...

My M thinks she need to improve on the shoot, so I think there'll be more to come...

Superglue me!

Last friday was a howliday, to the humans decided to bring us out for a run and picnic at a nice field. My M was expecting me to run like the wind since we're in such a big open area.

Wind~~

But instead I superglued myself to Jack the whole time. And since Jack refused to move much, neither did I.

I love Jack!

Even if he scolds me...

Even if he tries to run away from me...

My M was complaining that 90% of the photos she took of me that day has Jack in it...

Me and Jack... again!

Other than the one she forced me aside to take a nice handsome picture of me.

Handsome me

Even when my baby sister told me Jack doesn't like me, I didn't believe her.

Sherylyn: Go away, Jack doesn't like you
Jack: Yeah, buzz off!
Helios: I don't believe you.

Even when there was food, I still preferred Jack, although he preferred the bun.

(Anyone noticed that my baby sister is begging.... AGAIN?!)

Scuba, for once, had a happy outing coz there's no swimming.

Yippeee

Joey was as usual playing ball.

Joey has this habit of throwing his ball at a chosen human's feet and it will be that human's turn to throw his ball. And if the human is slow, he'll bark to hurry them up. But I don't know why he'd think that my baby sister will throw his ball for him.

(Note: Scuba is in the background where all the food is)

Look how my baby sister is totally ignoring him.

Well, it was a happy day for all of us since it was different from our usual outing places. I hope we can get to go again soon!

(Note: Helios has this strange habit of supergluing himself to the dog that he likes. He'll choose a dog for the day (sometimes he doesn't find any that he loves so he'll be minding his own business), and once he finds a target, he'll shadow the dog all over the place like a serial stalker. He doesn't mind being scolded by the dog, he just likes to stick really close and get the dog to play.)
