Growing up

I was a big boi the last time, now I'm an even bigger boi! I'm almost catching up with my big brother herbie!

Good Boi!

I am a good boi, but I dunno why my big brother Herbie says I bully him. I even let Herbie eat my dinner if he wants to.

(M: What happened was, during dinnertime one day, I noticed that Helios was eating very slowly, so I let him take his time and went to another room. After a while, I decided to check in on them and realised Herbie was eating from Helios bowl, and that silly pup was just standing at the side looking at him. I turned to look at the toilet and saw a pile of poop.

Apparently Helios ate halfway, went to poop, and when he came back Herbie has taken over his bowl. I think Herbie managed to eat at least 1/3 of the contents.)

I'm also a very good boi becoz I don't go out of the house even if the door is opened until my M says it's ok.

(M: I trained Helios in the very first week that he came not to dash out of the house until I release him. I've heard too many cases of dogs running out of opened doors and getting lost so I'm not taking that chance with him. It helps that Herbie doesn't do that so he learned very quickly.)

See, I don't run out!


So, I really, really, really am a very good boi!

And I've grown bigger as well!



I am now a GOOD boi and a BIG boi!

Life is unfair

I never knew how unfair life can be, until the arrival of Helios.

Just because he's 'Growing', he gets to eat and eat and eat.... a LOT. Look what my M has been trying to cheat me out of!

A typical brunch. Can you guess which bowl is mine?



The one on the RIGHT! Helios is eating apples, yoghurt AND fish, and a whole bowl full at that. What do I get??? Some miserable pieces of apples, soup from the steamed fish and yoghurt! And they think I can't tell the difference?!!?

And don't let me start about dinner. Look how unfair the portions are!



If you can't see clearly, here's a better view. In case you didn't realise, I get more vegetables than him because I'm supposed to be on a 'DIET'.



See the red line? See the amount he gets that exceeds the red line??!!?

Just because he's growing, he's eating about 1kg of meat a day, and that's not including vegetables! And me? I get a miserly 200g of meat per day.

And from eating all that much, he isn't growing a lot anyway. Helios wants me to post his latest growth update.



Compared to 2 weeks ago, he only gained about 2kg. But he's eaten at least 14kg of meat, where did the rest of the food go?? I tell you, it's a waste of food feeding him that much if he's not going to show some results from the food.

I don't care, I'm a growing boy too and I demand my fair share of food!


(M: Actually, Herbie really can't tell the difference in the amount of food given. Maybe it's because he's a slower eater so they finish at about the same time, or he's only slightly earlier.)

Size Matters?

After reading Scuba's post about size mattering, I decided I want to grow up big and huge and tall and stout and gigantic and.... and.... stuff like that....

So my M decided to track my growth progress before I get too huge.

When I arrived, at 12 weeks old, I was about 9kg.

As of today, at 18 weeks old, I am 13.1kg, 17.5" tall (from shoulder to floor) and 21" long (from butt to chest).

Vital stats!


But I hear my litter brother Casper is gonna be 16kg soon! I better try to catch up fast fast! Maybe if I grow into Rosco size, I can eat sweep the food off the table with my tail as well!
