Herbie left us, in the middle of the night. Thanks for everyone's well wishes and prayers. I'll say somemore once I've recollected my thoughts.

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart aches and my tears flow just as if Herbie is my dog. Sorry - I should say as if I have known him as my friend.
I have been following your posts and I will miss Herbie dearly too.
I really need you to remember this - Pls do not beat yourself up on what you think that you should have done this or that. Youb have absolutely done your best.

Parting is always sad. Nevertheless i believe Herbie has really found someone whom love him more than herself in his last few yrs. U have already done a very fantasic job friend. I will missed him too.

Oh no, no .. we are so sorry to hear that Herbie is gone but he left you with another little one to help you along the way. The Mommy said she is sure Herbie is at the rainbow bridge now with her Samantha and all the other little doggies in the world that have left us and that they are all healthy and just waiting for the day to be with us again...in the meantime Herbie is now out of pain and running free.

Oh no... I am sorry to hear that. Herbie's stories are the first blogging dog stories I read, those videos of him. My favourite is the one of him sitting on your bed, whining for you to carry him down while you all were encouraging him to get down on his own.
I would miss him too. He has been a trooper. He is an amazing dog.

I'm really sorry for your loss..
Sorry bro. I am very sad to hear that herbie had passed away but i was held up with work and couldn't see herbie for the last time. i feel so bad as herbie is a great companion/pal to everybody and to his doggy friends.

I started reading Herbie's since mid last year. I somewhat grew attached to him so much.
I was shocked to know Herbie has left while reading this entry with a colleague earlier.
It was rather emotional and both of us were holding our tears back.
Herbie, we are missing you already.
Just glad that you're in safer hands and sufferings are now gone.
