Not enough
As if grabbing me is not enough, my baby sister is now resorting to grabbing MY toys! And right under my very own nose! She should be thanking her lucky stars that I'm not stealing... I mean sharing HER toys.
Life of an adopted 7 year old (or so my M would like to believe) Golden Retriever living in sunny Singapore... I have now since moved to the rainbow bridge and my puppy brother Helios is taking care of my blog now!

My baby sister and I have more in common than what others think....
Spot the similarities

My M thinks that there's a mystery going on. And it's gotta do with my dinners and tummy.
Strangely for the past few weeks, whenever I eat at Grand M's home (my GrandM cooks my dinner when I go over with my baby sister), I will regurgitate a portion of my dinner. Sometimes it's almost immediate, like 5 minutes after dinner. Sometimes I wait til we're on the way home before puking downstairs.
However, I can keep my dinner in my tummy when I eat at my own home. And the other day I had dinner at my Grand MM's home and I didn't puke too.
So my M wondered why do I only puke at my Grand M's home when I'm being fed the same food. The only difference is the cooking method. She thinks that GrandM adds too much water when boiling my meat so I end up with a very soupy dinner and that's what caused the puking. But GrandM argued that my big brother Herbie used to eat the same thing without any problems. She even made sure the meat was thoroughly cooked to kill all 'germs'. I guess my M didn't tell her sometimes I get raw meat, so uncooked meat is perfectly fine with me.
So now my M is testing to see if it's really the different cooking methods. She cooked my dinner personally at GrandM's house last night and I didn't puke. So she'll be trying it a few more times to see if the change in the cooking method helps.
Does anyone have any idea why I only puke at my GrandM's place? Maybe it's the fengshui?
My M's leg.... the only thing that is saving me from my baby sis's evil clutches.
Yes, apparently she was released early from jail for 'good behavior'.

After reading Joey's post, I realised that my M and Aunty G bought the same vroom vroom!
My M came home last week with this big box and said that it's a vacuum cleaner.
She said that now that my baby sister has learned how to crawl, we can't have tumbleweeds at home. But we don't live in a desert, where did the tumbleweeds come from? So my M said I'm a silly boy and it's my fur. In that case, shouldn't it be called tumblefur?
Anyway, my M said it's all because of my fur that the floor now has to be cleaned everyday. Ans she's too tired to do it everyday after work, so she got a robot to do it for her. She even got the 'Pet Series' one.
My fault again
So we opened the box to check out what's inside.
Then after getting it all together, my M switched it on. And that thing CAME ALIVE!! It moves on it's own!! I was curious yet scared of it. What happens if it decides to attack me? See how I try to check it out cautiously?
Can you see what I see?
A kitty cat! Hiding in the bush this morning! But my M forbids me to go after them, so I can only stand and stare, hoping that kitty cat will come to me instead so that I can have an excuse to play.
Anyone knows how to make kitty cats come closer?
I know this is a late post, but my M was lazy. Anyway it's about my Valentine Day's dinner. I lurrrve V-day, because it is a day of yummy food! (M: It's a day for love, silly!)
It is? I always thought V-day is a day for food, because I get special dinners on that day. Maybe it's a day for love of FOOD!
Anyway, my M cooked again. To be fair, all of us had almost the same basic thing, fish and broccoli... even the baby! But the baby has extra sweet potatoes, my M and MM had tomato soup... but I had extra beef! I'm special because beef is so much better than veges!
Baby food... she got extra sweet potatoes...
The extras....
Tomato soup... made with real tomatoes!
It doesn't look soupy yet coz my M had to puree it.
Strangely, it looked like my baby sister's dinner...
Don't they look the same? And even more strangely, how come my baby sister's food looked so different from my M and MM's food although it's made of the same stuff?
Anyway, I don't really care, coz I get to eat all of them! Yup, my M gave me the leftovers from my baby sister's dinner too. Speaking of which, I've been getting quite a lot of her leftovers recently coz my M tend to cook a bit more. My baby sis is FINALLY becoming a blessing!
Here's my dinner!
And then there is the customary pose before every special meal.
It was indeed yummy... if only my M won't keep taking peektures of me eating.
But good food is never enough... so here's me teaching my baby sister the next lesson in life....
Begging at the dinner table
I wonder when will be the next special dinner day...
The long arms of the law has finally caught up with my baby sister. She was finally jailed for assaulting me.
I wonder how long the jail term will be.... how long will I be safe from her evil clutches...
She's not gonna come out anytime soon right?
But I fear that it won't be long....
Criminal behind bars... I mean, net...

Something frightening happened last week... I saw an escaped lion! And it was dancing! I'm not sure what was worse, the lion being an escapee or that it was dancing.
I was so shocked that I slipped my collar and tried to run away from the big dancing lion but my M called me back so I had to slink back carefully although I very much wanted to run.
This is what the escaped lion looks like:
Doesn't it look frightening?
My M even took a clip of it trying to dance. I don't know why everyone is looking at a dangerous beast dance and some of the bystanders even laughed at me when I tried to run.
My M just laughed at me and said I'm a scaredy cat. She said that if I die one day, the cause of death would most likely be a heart attack, since I get so easily spooked. I think I might have to wear armor in future to protect my heart from evil dancing lions and scawie ronalds attacking it.
I wonder if any authorities are attempting to capture the escaped lion.
I don't think babies are a good thing.
Take for my instance, my baby sister. Not only is she NOT feeding me food (or even attempting to throw a toy for me), she is now trying to EAT me! Yes, eat ME! I'm glad that she doesn't have teeth yet, but will I be able to escape once she grows a full set of teefies?
She even made a u-turn to get to me. Look how she was contemplating my toes, deciding how to eat it, then decide to start from my tail first. And listen to how she's screaming in excitement at the thought of eating my tail?
Do you think my M will rescue me from her evil clutches?

My baby sister has finally been upgraded to eating semi-solids.
What a mess!
So I thought I finally got to the stage when babies gets fun (for dogs).
Is anything dropping?
Hey I'm still waiting for my turn... yoo hoo... here~~
But it turns out there was nothing.
Sherylyn: Haha, Helios got cheated!
Helios: I thought you're supposed to drop some!
I thought they say babies throw food on the ground?
Sigh.. maybe next time....
But I still love my baby sis.

My M seems to think I've got 6th sense, coz I just know when they're coming home from work. Either that or their coming home time happens to coincide near dinnertime.
Proof can be seen in the clip below. I was already waiting at the door when they were still in the lift. They even asked GrandM if I was there the whole day but GrandM said I just started staying near the door slightly before they came home.
Look how excited I am when they got home!!
But I'm a good boy coz I did not to step on my baby sis even with all my excitement.
(M: Somehow Helios always avoided the baby mattress area. He's excited but not clumsy and has never stepped on the baby. But his tail has managed to sweep her across the face tho.. lol)
It's a VERY special day today, coz I'm now officially TWO!
But I celebrated my barkday with my friends earlier, on christmas eve, since the humans were also having a gathering then. My M made me a barkday cake to share with my friends, made with wholesome goodies!
*warning: loads of photos of my cake in progress!*
Fried with healthy olive oil
my minced chicken!
Even my MM helped... for like 2 minutes!
Is it ready?
The we added carrots and garlic
Some honey.... coz I'm sweeeeet
And an egg and flour
this is so exciting!
Mix 'em up and put in a tray for baking
The cake 'icing', which is actually cheese
the 'iced' cake
My name! And I'm 2!
But I can't eat it yet...
We have to go Scuba's house for the x'mas pawty and take the annual 'dogs with tree (and now babies) photo'.
Then I finally get to eat my cake. Or rather, I have to pose with it again. All my friends were kept away so that the humans can take my peekture in peace. Unfortunately, there was no more fridge space coz it's filled with human goodies so my cake was left outside and the words on my cake started bleeding.
me posing with bleeding cake
Me having the first lick at bleeding cake
Then we all got to eat the cake! Look at me chomping!
Chomp!
And on Christmas day, I get to open my presents! But as usual, I have to pose AGAIN!
Are we quite done yet?
Finally!
Thanks to everyone for the lovely presents!!
And last night, my M cooked me a YUMMY dinner as an early barkday dinner. I got a whole piece of steak!
I want it medium-well please!
My yummy dinner!
The other part is a mix of veges, prawns, scallops, fish and some mussels. (actually leftovers from the human dinner but coz it's only cooked with herbs and no salt, I get to eat some).
My medium-well steak!
Yummy! I ate all the beef first
But I don't really like veges, and I think I'm not a mussel fan as well.
But overall, it was a very good dinner!
My M says that I'm an even BIGGER boy now coz I'm 2, so I shouldn't be so silly anymore.... but... I never thought I was silly. Was I?
