Troublemaker?
Have you ever gone somewhere, caused a scene, and then left the scene of the crime?
Why do I say that? Coz my M says I've been doing that recently. So what usually happens? Picture this scene:
Walk past unknown doggy, new friend?
I like meeting new friends on walks, and sniffing them. Sometimes if we hit it off, we may even try to play a little. My M will usually try to check out the other dog to see if it's friendly as we walk nearer, and the other dog will sometimes show interest or even wag it's tail. My M will walk nearer if they've got the all clear. But sometimes, some dogs are not as friendly as they seem... because right after wagging their tails, they do this:
Get away from my turf you big fat brown thing!
And they bark... and bark... and bark... and other humans will turn around to see what the commotion is about. My M is worried that others might think it's a big dog (me) bullying a small dog (the other party), so this is what we usually do:
Run away!
We escape.... she drags me off quickly, with the echos of the other barking dog following us, and the poor owner of the other dog will have to keep it quiet.
That's what I call a 'hit-and-run'.

this happens to me all the time! maybe the other dogs don't like my face ...
herbie, i notice that you are getting better with your drawing lei.... keep it up..hahaha!
Wow nice drawings with your paws and mouse! Since other dogs so unfriendly, play with me I'm friendly! ^_^
thats what we do also.. we walk by and dogs being walked on the other side of the road bark madly and kept tugging on their leash while we smirk and ignore them..
Poor herbie. You must have gotten a shock when the small dog started barking....
tommy: you got hidden 'sha qi'm that's why they dun like you
Aunty Serene: thank you, practice makes perfect.
mocha: you should try drawing sometimes. I do play with you, when you're not growling at me over food
ice & russell: But at least they're unfriendly from afar. Some I've met pretend to be friendly and then bark at me
jay: Not really shocked, more embarassed really, coz when my M drags me away, it's like a big dog running away from a small dog. No more macho!
In my estate, it is like a dog's choir.
I walked down the street and one by one, the dogs would come to the gate and start barking - sometimes I join in
herbie, you should shout from far: Are you friendly? If you are not, i will get my IT savvy dog bloggers gang down.. heh....
haha......it's funny.
Some dog owners in my neightborhood don't like their dog saying hi to other dogs. And so I keep walking unless they show signs that they want to come over. Luckly JJ has been very good at not barking at dogs but just staring at them.
